Wetland Solutions Northwest, LLC is a woman-owned small business located in St. Helens, Oregon. Stacy Benjamin, Principal Ecologist, specializes in coordinating regulatory approvals for projects located in close proximity to wetlands and other natural resources. Stacy has 20 years of experience as a wetland consultant. Prior to founding Wetland Solutions Northwest in 2014, Stacy worked for two well-respected environmental consulting firms in Portland. Stacy provides services including wetland delineations, jurisdictional determinations, wetland functional assessments, wetland permit applications, mitigation plans, and wetland buffer assessments. Stacy works with clients and multidisciplinary teams during project design to incorporate measures to avoid and minimize impacts to natural resources to meet the alternatives analysis requirements for federal, state, and local permitting. She also advises clients regarding programmatic permitting requirements and mitigation measures to facilitate expedited permitting schedules with the regulatory agencies. In addition, Stacy prepares documents to meet the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act.
Stacy is an experienced project manager who will keep your project schedule and budget on track. She understands the importance of communication between the consultant, project team and the regulatory agencies to facilitate project planning and permitting, and she is respected for her diplomatic communication style and the excellent working relationships she maintains with agency personnel.
Stacy earned her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon and her M.S. in Ecology from the University of Oregon.
